Jon Lukas:

websites

I've worked as a front-end programmer in a team environment with graphic designers and back end programmers. I've also built complete WordPress-based sites. Recently, I've been designing and building responsive sites.

Design HTML CSS JavaScript jQuery Responsive Music production

This is the website for my downtempo electronic jazz project, Echo Fabric, which launched in January 2016. In addition to the responsive website, I created all the associated marketing. I designed the album cover and a music video. I extended the visual theme as I set up the email list signup (MailChimp), a YouTube channel, a Facebook page and a Twitter profile.

About this website

Design HTML Sass Responsive

I designed and built this site completely from scratch. It uses a fluid grid and CSS queries to adapt itself to your browser's size (responsive design).

I built the site using CodeKit, a Mac application that extends static web development with HTML includes, Sass with Bourbon mixins, variables, and other useful additions.

Since the site is completely static, it can be served inexpensively and with excellent scalability by using Amazon S3 instead of a traditional web server.
